  Le pouvoir arabiste  tunisien  considere la revendication par un tunisien de sa  berberite que ce soit individuellement ou collectivement comme un acte d'opposition au regime .

As Tunisia moves forward with its impressive programme of social and economic development, historians feel a vital part of the country's heritage is on the cusp of being lost forever.

Tunisia once belonged to the Berbers, but over 1,300 years after the Arab conquest of North Africa most of them have assimilated into Arab culture and barely 1% of the population of lOm still speaks the language or regards itself as Berber. In fact, Berber identity seems to have been almost completely erased from the collective psyche of Tunisians and cultural awareness amongst the Berbers themselves is poor. Yet these proud, independent people played a vital role in the development of democratic ..

 

 

       Le regime tunisien mene depuis quelques annees une campagne mediatique et par d'autres  moyens , pour minimiser et marginaliser les berberes en Tunisie sauf dans certaines publicites touristiques. Quand on insiste sur ce fait , le regime admet que les habitants originels de la Tunisie etaient berberes , mais qu'il n'y a que 1% de la population qui est berberophones ( ceci n'a jamais ete verifie par une source independante)

Et Djerba ? et autres villages berberes de Matmata?

     Toute these contraire a celle du regime est sanctionnee que se soit pour la question berbere ou autres. Les sanctions ne sont pas necessairement l'emprisonnement mais des pressions et contraintes d'ordre administratif , scolaire , professionel. etc...VOIR RAPPORT du CMA et Le RAPPORT DES NATIONS UNIES CI-DESSOUS

The World Amazigh Congress(CMA) alert intergovernmental organizations, NGO, friends of the amazigh people and the public opinion in general on the serious infringements with freedoms and the basic rights of the amazigh of Tunisia.In this country where the amazighophones account for approximately 10% of the total population, the amazighe identity is completely denied and police terror dissuades any attempt to live and claim it collectively.

The amazigh term is completely prohibited and the "Berber" word - pronounced "barbarian" in Arabic - can only be used in the museums, advertising folders and for folklore intended to the foreign tourists. The amazigh do not have the right to express themself publicly in Tamazighe, neither to meet, nor to create associations or media in their language. All things considered, they do not have right to exist. According to the Constitution, the Tunisian identity is founded only on the arabity and Islam. Any other assertion or claim, can be qualified by the authorities like an act of treason. Thanks to the police intimidations and repression exerted on a purely "preventive" basis, the Tunisian authorities practise daily an ethnocide against the amazighe populations, forced to silence and identity repression.

This particularly alarming situation does not have sliped out to the vigilance of the Committee of the United Nations for the Elimination of all forms of Racial Discrimination (CERD), which noted for its 62th session of 2003 in Geneva, that the Tunisian State "did not provide information about the Berber population (or amazigh), nor to the measures taken for purposes of the protection and the promotion of the Berber culture and language.

Being given the absence of any mention of this group, the Committee wishes to receive concrete information on this subject and recommends that more attention is given to the situation of Berber as a specific component of the Tunisian population ". Consequently of what, the World Congress Amazigh particularly challenges the 4 candidates with the presidential election in Tunisia on their positions relating to the following points: Official recognition of the amazighe identity, like one of the essential components of the Tunisian identity; The immediate suspension of bans and discriminations which strike the amazigh of this country in the policy, economic, social and cultural fields; Restoration and the promotion of the amazighe identity (history, language and culture) in teaching, media and the public administration.

In front of the voters, the national and international public opinion, the CMA will thus take the effective measurement of the responsibility and the will of each one to build a Tunisian State on the values of freedom, democracy, tolerance and respect of the rights of the human person.

Le Comité pour l'élimination de la discrimination raciale a achevé, ce matin, l'adoption de ses observations finales et recommandations sur le rapport de la Tunisie. Il lui recommande notamment d'adopter une législation séparée pour les délits de discrimination raciale et d'incitation à la haine raciale et de porter une attention accrue à la situation des Berbères (Amazigh) en tant que composante spécifique de la population tunisienne.

 

 

 

Pas de Chromosomes Cananéens chez Imazighen!

Un article fort intéressant est apparu dans le ''National Geographic'' du mois d'Octobre. Des études d'A.D.N. ont été faites sur des Libanais et des Tunisiens pour voir s'ils ont un ancêtre phénicien commun.
Les chromosomes phéniciens sont appelés '' M 89'' et ''M 172''. Les Chromosomes Amazighs sont appelés ''M 96''. Des échantillons de sang ont été pris dans plusieurs coins du Liban, et d'autres régions de Tunis.
Voici le résultat:
Les Chromosomes ''M89'' et M172 ont été trouvés chez la quasi-totalité de la population Libanaise. Chrétiens et Musulmans Libanais partagent ces même Chromosomes.
Concernant la Population de Tunis, moins de 20% de personnes ont les Chromosomes Phéniciens. Par contre  le Chromosome ''M96'' se trouve chez les échantillons des personnes examinées à Tunis. Selon Le ''National Geographic'', les phéniciens se mélangeaient très peu ou pas du tout avec les populations autochtones.
On sait que les phéniciens sont les descendants des Cananéens.
Selon certains idéologues arabes, les Imazighen seraient des descendants de cananéens, donc cousins des arabes. Les recherches scientifiques génétiques nous montrent que cette théorie est Fausse: Pas de Chromosomes Cananéens chez les Imazighen.
